4 "After-Thanksgiving Recovery" Recipes That You Will Love

Thanksgiving has passed, and we don't know about you guys, but we ate a TON! We have a love-hate relationship with the holidays that we're sure many of you share. The food at Thanksgiving is so good, and then the days following you have all those leftovers that are so hard to pass over. Plus some of us, and maybe some of you, also had to eat out quite a bit from having to travel. Needless to say, it is really easy to over eat around this time of year and our stomachs are definitely not thanking us at this very moment. Well we think we all could use a little detox. We have found a few different recipes that are sure to make you feel better.
1. The BEST Green Smoothie!
Smoothies are a great for making sure you are getting everything that your body needs in a super easy way. We found this recipe from Stella from her blog called Beauty Bites. You can find the recipe here. The best part is that you can make one every day so easily. It's a super simple thing to make when life gets busy and you are on the go, especially during the holiday season.
2. Apple Spinach Salad
This is a salad we think you will definitely love! It is super easy to make and something you will actually want to eat. Ali from Gimme Some Oven created this salad and it is incredible! You can find all the recipes and a super easy step by step guide by clicking here. Trust us, you will love it!  One thing we might suggest is if you have any of that leftover turkey, you can add some to your salad. That would give it a little bit of extra protein and your turkey wouldn't go to waste.
3. Skinny Chicken Fajita Soup
Soups are so great because they are great at filling you up without making you sick. We found this Chicken Fajita Soup recipe from A Spicy Perspective. It is so good! You will definitely not regret making this soup. The recipe is super easy and it can be found by clicking here. This is a great choice for a yummy dinner that won't make you sick after you eat it.
4. Skinny Turkey and Wild Rice Soup
We have found another really yummy recipe that will allow you to use any of your leftover turkey. This recipe comes from the Skinny Fork and it is so good! The recipe is super simple and is something that your whole family will enjoy. Another plus is that this soup is low calorie and who doesn't love that?
