Celebrate Love!
Whether you celebrate Valentine's Day with your special someone, Galentine's Day (for all you single ladies), or you don't celebrate this day at all, we think you should embrace the day and show your loved ones just how much you care about them. It doesn't have to be about having a significant other....it's about sharing love with others! And it happens to be one of our favorite holidays here at Beddy's. We thought we would help you celebrate with a few ideas that are super easy, and even more memorable!

Try "Heart Attacking" your kids or significant other! Have you ever seen a neighbor's garage or front door filled with paper hearts? This is known as a "Heart Attack" and is a super sweet way of letting someone know you care about them. Cut out hearts in all shapes and sizes, write little notes on some of them, and stick them to their bedroom door for when they wake up in the morning! They are sure to love this fun surprise.
Another fun idea is to get one of these Valentine's Day Chairbackers from Pottery Barn (or if you are crafty, you can totally make your own). The idea is to leave anonymous notes for one another every day leading up to Valentine's. It can quickly become a fun tradition. And what better way to teach your kids to show love and appreciation for one another?

Make heart shapes out of everything!! Sandwiches, play dough, cookies, and pancakes all take on a whole new meaning when they're in the shape of love. ❤️ All you need is a heart cookie cutter and you'll look like parent of the year!
(and ultimately in your belly 😉)!
Rolo Pretzels
Preheat oven to 200 degrees
Line a cookie sheet with a silpat or parchment paper
Align pretzels on a cookie sheet in a single layer. Then top each pretzel with a Rolo
Bake in oven for 4-5 minutes, until the chocolate is soft
Remove from oven and place one M&M in the center of each chocolate, and softly press down to spread the chocolate
Allow to cool until chocolate is set before storing or serving!

Get dressed up (or even wear your pajamas) and have a candlelight dinner. Try making a special meal that is a little out-of-the-ordinary. How fun would a fondue night be? There are so many specialty cheeses at the local grocery store that are perfect for making a cheesy fondue. Or if you aren't into savory, make chocolate fondue! One of our favorites is this luxurious Chocolate Peanut Butter Fondue.
6 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup peanut butter
Melt the chocolate chips over stove top or in fondue pot. Then mix in the sugar, milk and peanut butter. Mix until well incorporated. Once warm, serve with strawberries, bananas, marshmallows, rice crispy treats, etc. and most importantly enjoy!
